The Data Behind Bright Futures

In Barbour County, we believe that strong communities create stronger futures for our youth.

Through the Youth Voices Count Survey, over 700 students in grades 6–12 shared their experiences, challenges, and needs.

What they told us is clear:

 When young people are connected to adults, activities, and community, they are less likely to engage in risky behaviors like substance use.
